Spring Valley High School students raised $4,700 to help fellow students and their families during the holidays.
The high school, located at 3750 S. Buffalo Drive, has sponsored a “Charity Begins at Home” fundraiser since 2004, when the school opened. The holiday drive helps families and students who are facing financial difficulties.
This year’s funds will go toward purchasing gift cards and other items to benefit 40 Spring Valley High School families.
