Looking for a place to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks show above the Las Vegas Strip with your family without worrying about drunken crowds and heavy traffic?
Spring Valley High School will host a family-oriented fireworks-viewing party on Dec. 31, between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m.
Families are invited to the Spring Valley Football Stadium, 3750 S. Buffalo Drive, for music, dancing and snacks and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase. The stadium overlooks the entire Las Vegas Strip, providing an unobstructed view of the eight-minute New Year’s Eve fireworks show.
Strict security protocols will be enforced, and those under 18 years old must be accompanied or supervised by an adult.
Tickets cost $7 per person; children under 5 years old can enter for free. Tickets will be available at the gate, but can also be purchased online at www.ccsd.net/schools/springvalley.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the school’s Advancement Via Individual Determination program, which is hosting the celebration.
