Cimarron-Memorial High School will open a Goodwill donation center on Friday.
The center is part of a pilot program that will benefit Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides education, employment and training for people with disabilities and special needs.
Residents are encouraged to donate gently used merchandise, the sales of which support Goodwill’s education, job training and job placement services. In 2009, the donations helped serve 5,952 individuals.
The new donation center will be located at Cimarron-Memorial High School, 2301 North Tenaya Way.
