From the school
Cimarron-Memorial High School publishes a minimum of five parent newsletters each school year and special editions of the senior and freshmen academy newsletters. Parents have the opportunity to communicate directly with staff members through InTouch Online. InTouch allows parents to view student grades, assignments and absences through the Internet. The school Web site provides information regarding daily announcements, testing dates, student activities and the course catalog. Registration is held online. Special mailings are prepared for open house, testing dates and testing results. An Honors and A.P. orientation and a freshmen preregistration evening are held in the spring for interested students and parents. A new student/freshmen orientation is held each August. Also, an A.V.I.D. parent night is held annually. An automatic phone dialer delivers messages to parents regarding attendance, grades, discipline and various events taking place on campus. The parent advisory council meets monthly with the administration. Cimarron-Memorial has an open door policy which encourages parents to visit classes with their students.
