Streaks were made to be snapped, and Findlay Prep ended one of the nation's most impressive runs on Thursday night.

The Pilots went down to Houston to take on powerhouse Yates High on the campus of Texas Southern University, and in front of the entire nation on ESPN, Findlay ran away with a 95-69 win.

It brought an end to Yates's impressive 66-game win streak.

The result improves the Pilots to 15-1 on the season, and locals will be able to check them out this weekend when they take on Bishop Manogue at the South Point Arena at 8 p.m.

Senior Arizona signee Nick Johnson set a strong early tone for Findlay, throwing home a two-handed alley-oop slam in the game's opening minutes. It was his first bucket, and he'd go on to score a team-high 24 points on 8-of-8 shooting and a 10-of-11 performance from the free throw line.

Fellow senior Myck Kabongo had 18 points and 11 assists, while Amir Garrett tallied 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting.

Sophomore guard Nigel Williams-Goss, who got his trip started off with a bang by committing to UNLV on Wednesday morning, scored 13.
