Las Vegas Sun reporters Ray Brewer and Steve Silver start breaking down potential playoff match-ups as this week's slate of games will not greatly impact any postseason positioning.

Expanded coverage

Valley is only 3-6 on the season but is headed to the playoffs after beating Eldorado 43-7 on Thursday.

Garic Wharton had multiple rushing touchdowns for the Vikings and Suki Wilks added two sacks in the victory.

“We’re peaking at the right time,” Valley coach John Elwell said. “Hopefully, we can catch some momentum in the playoffs.”

Valley will face off against the Southeast Division champion, either Del Sol or Basic, in the first round of the playoffs.
