Las Vegas Sun reporters Ray Brewer and Steve Silver start breaking down potential playoff match-ups as this week's slate of games will not greatly impact any postseason positioning.

Expanded coverage

Liberty led the entire way and held off a late Coronado surge to win 24-19 in its final divisional game of the season.

Sam Tai ran for a 50-yard touchdown to give Liberty a 7-0 halftime lead. Receiver Anthony Norris starred in the second half with a long touchdown reception.

The Patriots improved to 6-3 and are headed to the playoffs for the first time in school history.

“I’m super-proud of these kids and the season they’ve had so far,” Liberty coach Rich Muraco said. “They’ve exceeded my expectations to be honest.”
