StumblePolice: Woman robbed, beaten in northwest valley

A woman was robbed and severely beaten about 1:30 p.m. today in her home in the northwest Las Vegas Valley, Metro Police said.
A man knocked at the woman's door in the area of Smoke Ranch Road and Buffalo Avenue, telling the woman he had lost his dog.
The man then beat the woman and took her keys and her vehicle, described as a 2008 Infiniti G35, silver in color, with Nevada license plate 807KPC, police said.
The man is described as Hispanic, in his late 20s with a muscular build and a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt.
Police said the man is considered armed and dangerous.
Robbery detectives are asking for the public's help in finding the man and the stolen vehicle. Anyone with information is urged to call Metro's Robbery Section at (702) 828-3591, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555. A cash reward may be available to anyone providing information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

I didn't see in the story where they mentioned the suspects immigration (if any) status. Maybe you three know more about the story you'd like to share? Or more likely, you are just speaking from a position of ignorance.
It's obvious that any time you three see a person who does not look like you, or has what you consider to be a Hispanic sounding name, you immediately judge them to be illegal, and thus (as is evident by the comments above) a robber or rapist. It must be awful to live in constant fear all of the time.
Really at the end of the day you are just showing your ignorance, racism and bigotry. If any of you idiots bothered to read or understand your history you would know that this country was founded by immigrants and even back then, (some of) the people who were already here told the same lies, and attempted to use the exact anti-immigration arguments as you modern day pseudo-patriots do.
Let's take the Statue of Liberty down and accept the fact that the American spirit is dead: it has been replaced by fear and ignorance.

Homer, is most of the (street) crime committed by minorities or by poor people? Facts man, not one dimensional anecdotes.
People used to wring their hands about the Irish immigrants at the turn of the century. They moaned and cried about the 'dirty Irish' (and Italians, Poles, and Jews) taking all of the jobs, causing crime, and not assimilating or speaking the language. I think everything turned out pretty well there. That is the BIG PICTURE: HISTORY; not the day to day horror stories that you see on the local news every day.
Is there crime? Yes. But stop and think - do the people who commit the crimes commit them because of their skin color and country of origin? Or because they are uneducated, poor and hopeless?
And by the way:
If that fool showed up at my door I'd put two in his center mass and smile about it. I hope they catch him and he never hurts anyone again.

I saw this story yesterday and thought I'll bet that woman they referred to as "elderly" is probably about 60ish. Sure enough she was mid sixties... Is that elderly?

Soon America will become just like Mexico and California where crime and rape is an everyday occurrence and murder will occur hourly. We'll sit back and watch the courts be clogged up and we'll hear every excuse why everyone else is a fault for the choices made and the system will provide safe haven for these people. Our taxes will be raised and free housing provided while the working class is forced to work 100 plus hours a week to support these mindless trolls.

Yep, my paternal great grandmother was from Ghana and my great grandfather was Native American. My family is an eclectic mix of races that love each other. I have a tolerance of race, it doesn't mean I have to like everyone of that particular race, but I won't ignorantly generalize and condemn an entire race because of some bad apples.
