Intersections reopened after suspicious packages found

Metro Police have reopened two intersections in the western area of the Las Vegas Valley after suspicious packages were found.

The first intersection, at Arville Drive and Sahara Avenue, was closed shortly after 8 a.m., police said. The second closure occurred at Sahara and Decatur Boulevard, police said.

Neither incident posed a public threat, police said.
