H1N1 flu vaccine clinics scheduled

The Southern Nevada Health District is offering H1N1 flu vaccine clinics at three high schools from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday for priority groups.
The schools are: Del Sol High School, 3100 E. Patrick Lane; Sierra Vista High School, 8100 W. Robindale Road, both in Las Vegas; and Mojave High School, 5302 Goldfield St., in North Las Vegas.
From 1 to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday H1N1 immunizations will be available to priority groups at the Ravenholt Public Health Center, 625 Shadow Lane, north of West Charleston Boulevard and west of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
From noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, H1N1 flu vaccine will be available at 625 Shadow Lane.
The health district will be closed for all services Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
Those people eligible to receive the H1N1 vaccine, according to federal and state priorities include pregnant women, people who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age, health care and emergency medical services personnel, people between the ages of 6 months and 24 years old and people ages 25 to 64 years old with chronic health conditions or compromised immune systems.
