Police released images today of a man captured on videotape who robbed a cashier at one of Las Vegas' biggest hotel-casinos, then rode away on a motorcycle.
The man walked up to the high-limit slot machine area and approached a cashier at the MGM Grand about 4:42 a.m. on May 1, police said. The man had a gun and demanded money be put into a bag he was carrying, police said.
Once the man had cash, he ran from the MGM Grand to a nearby hotel casino, where he rode away on a motorcycle, police said.
The suspect cased the casino for about half an hour before approaching the cashier, police said.
The man is described as black, in his early 20s to mid 30s and 6-foot to 6-foot-2-inches tall with a slight build, light complexion, bushy eyebrows, a think goatee and wearing black-framed glasses, a black baseball cap, a thigh-length light-colored jacket, dark jeans and Puma shoes, police said.
Metro's Robbery Section is asking anyone who can identify the man or knows where he is to call detectives at (702) 828-3591, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
