Metro Police detectives have developed information leading to a person of interest after a man's body was found May 21 off State Route 160, the Blue Diamond Road near Forrester Street.
The man found dead, identified as 23-year-old Francisco Lambert-Cordero, who is a Cuban immigrant, had head wounds that led police to believe his death was foul play and not related to a traffic collision.
Homicide detectives also found that Lambert-Cordero had ties to Miami, police said.
Police are looking for Leandro Lopez-Turatis, who is 6-foot-3-inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Lopez-Turatis is also an immigrant from Cuba and was last seen driving a white 2001 Mercedes S500, Nevada license plate 960VRJ.
Anyone with information on Lopez-Turatis or the Mercedes is urged to call the Metro Police Homicide Section at (702) 828-3521, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
