A house fire broke out in Henderson this morning at 507 Chandler St., near the corner of Chandler Street and Sunset Road, west of Stephanie Street.
The fire started at approximately 9:45 a.m., said Capt. Tim Veit of the Henderson Fire Department. There were no injuries.
Armando Palacio and Minerva Galvan, who lived at the home, called 911 after discovering a fire that began inside a wall in their two-story house.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Veit said. Henderson Engine 82 and Engine 95 responded and extinguished the fire within five minutes.
"We arrived to find smoke in the house, and when we opened up one of the walls we discovered burning going on in there," Veit said. "It was a hidden fire."
The home is salvageable, although the two residents will likely be displaced, Veit said.
