Shooting
One man is in the hospital after a neighborhood dispute ended in gunfire today east of the Las Vegas Strip, Metro Police said.
Police arrived in the 400 block of McKellar Circle near Palos Verdes Street and Twain Avenue after a report of gunshots fired at 2:06 p.m. Thursday, said Officer Barbara Morgan.
Officers found the victim, who was able to talk to police before he was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Morgan said.
The man knew who had shot him and is expected to live, Morgan said. "He was talking and conscious," she said.
The police are searching for the man suspected in the shooting.
