I-15 shut down north of this point

All northbound Interstate 15 lanes have reopened as of 3 p.m. after being shut down for about two hours because of three separate collisions, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Sgt. Kevin Honea, spokesman for the highway patrol, said a motorcyclist who crashed on the interstate at Lake Mead Boulevard will be taken to a hospital for treatment. The motorcyclist crashed in the construction zone on I-15.

A second collision at Martin Luther King Boulevard involved a hit and run incident, but it is off to the side of the freeway, Honea said.

The third crash involved five cars on the northbound I-15 at East Charleston Boulevard, Honea said.

It is not known if the second and third collisions involved injuries, Honea said.

  1. Odds on the second and third crashes were the result of the original motorcycle crash and closure.

Glad we have those spiffy alert signs. Nice one, how much were the taxpayers soaked for those useless PsOS?

Those dumb signs never have anything useful. Just outdated travel time bs from 45 minutes ago or some kid who has been missing in Vermont since last Tuesday.

    dumb dumb dumb

  2. How can a crash at LM be related to one at I-15 and Charleston? You might wanna read the article next time.
