Pharmacy raid
Metro Police Violent Crimes Unit detectives on Wednesday searched a North Las Vegas pharmacy for evidence of writing illegal prescriptions for drugs.
Lt. George Castro and other Metro detectives served a search warrant at the pharmacy at 3416 E. Lake Mead Blvd., at the corner of Pecos Road.
Metro Police have increased efforts to fight the growing problem of illegal prescription drugs in Las Vegas, Castro said.
