CAT bus strikes pedestrian
A Citizens Area Transit bus struck a pedestrian at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard South and Sahara Avenue, authorities said.
The collision occurred about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday and Metro Police responded.
The condition of the pedestrian is unknown, a Metro Police spokeswoman said.
The eastern right lane of Sahara Avenue and the southern right lane of Las Vegas Boulevard are closed to traffic as investigators examine the scene.
The Nevada Highway Patrol has taken over the collision investigation.
