A 26-year-old Las Vegas woman, Ana Urosevic, has been arrested for driving under the influence and booked into the Clark County Detention Center after hitting a person waiting at a bus stop on Tropicana Avenue, Metro Police said.
The victim, 71-year-old Filomeno Mancao of Las Vegas, is in critical condition at University Medical Center after the crash about 5:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Urosevic was driving a 2004 Hyundai eastbound on Tropicana Avenue just east of Mojave Road, police said. As Urosevic traveled in the far right lane of Tropicana, the Hyunadai hit the curb, then the pedestrian and the bus stop, police said.
Urosevic has been arrested on a charged of felony DUI with great bodily harm, police said.
The crash is still under investigation, police said.
