A 45-year-old woman who died at the scene of a fatal three-vehicle crash Friday night has been identified as Kimberly Teuscher of Las Vegas, the Clark County coroner's office said.
The cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head from the crash, the coroner ruled.
Officers responded at 10:57 p.m. Friday to the collision at the intersection of Wilshire Street and Doe Avenue. Metro Police said a 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with felony DUI after the crash southwest of Charleston Boulevard's intersection with Decatur Boulevard.
Police said Teuscher was a passenger in a 2006 Ford Ranger pickup truck that was southbound on Wilshire crossing Doe when a 1965 Chevrolet Impala westbound on Doe failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with the Ranger in the intersection. The Impala struck the left side of the pickup truck, then the car continued west of the intersection and into a parked 1997 Toyota Camry, investigators said.
The driver of the pickup truck, Damon Teuscher, 48, of Las Vegas, and the driver of the Impala, Michael Dobrijevich, 19, of Las Vegas, were taken to University Medical Center's trauma unit with minor injuries. Dobrijevich was arrested in connection with felony DUI with death.
This is the 105th fatality this year in Metro Police jurisdiction.

Almost everyday now some drunken idiot gets behind the wheel and kills someone in this town. The penalties need to get a whole lot stiffer.
