A man wielding a chain saw overnight carved a hole through the door of his estranged wife's home and fired shots through the hole, critically injuring her, killing the fetus she was carrying and also killing her new boyfriend, Metro police said today.

Police have arrested 25-year-old William Keck, on a charge of murder with a deadly weapon and a charge of attempted murder. He has been booked into the Clark County Detention Center, police said.

Police said they were called about 1:10 a.m. today to the Fountains of Villa Cordova Apartments at 2800 Eastern Ave., where they found a man shot to death in a bedroom. Police said they believe Keck carved a hole in the apartment with the chain saw, then fired through the hole with an assault rifle.

The woman, who has not been identified, was taken in critical condition to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Her 18-week-old fetus died, Officer Jay Rivera said.

The dead man's identity will be released by the Clark County coroner's office.

  1. Unbelievable. What a psycho.

  2. I thought I was reading a Halloween skit. This is crazy. That poor womenz.

  3. OMG

  4. Someone was either a "little" unbalanced or on a lot of drugs, or both.

  5. Why can't people just take no for an answer and move on with their lives? This is very sad.

  6. (sigh) While it may be sad this is an extreme example of why conservative-endorsed psyc. meds that ultimately shorten lifespans to maintain POPULATION CONTROL are neccessary. Say this Keck guy had been on prolixen-D for 8 years & was now developing diabetes 1 or pancreatic cancer... at least then this innocent couple would have been spared celebrating the birth of their new baby.

  7. Oh please - there are many (both men AND women) who just can't NO for an answer and move on with their lives. I guess they never heard the old adage 'there's more fish in the sea' just to name one. I wouldn't be so quick to blame it on meds. of any kind be they conservative or liberal endorsed (actually never even heard THAT one before LOL)

  8. this is a fact that psyhciatric meds need to be monotored, in fact this is seroquel and the dr. who took billy off his "other" meds and dosed him with a mood stabilizer is responsible oh ya im sure kaine ran his mouth too.....

  9. Justadude...Are you serious? Its real sad that this guy had it tough and was on meds but HE is not the victim here? Kaine ran his mouth? So what..is that some kind of weak excuse for carving a hole in front door with a chainsaw and killing him and Anjil's unborn child. William Keck was just pissed of that his ex moved on and left him behind. You a scumbag for placing any kind of blame on Kaine.

You know what I am sick of. Idiots. Idiots like Justadude who want to blame everyone and everything else for their problems, their crappy lives, and the bad things that they do. William Keck may have been a nice guy, I don't know, but I what I do know is that he took a chainsaw and a automatic weapon, at 1 am in the morning, drove over to her house and killed her boyfriend (who has a 4 year old son), their unborn baby, and tried to kill her. Lord knows I ain't no rocket scientist but doesn't that sound a little like premeditation?

You can try to pass the buck and place the blame on his meds, his "condition", or anything else for that matter but at the end of the day William made a decision to do what he did and for that he is going to have to pay a price.
