Metro Police are asking for the public's help in identifying five suspects who robbed a man riding a Citizens Area Transit bus.

The robbery occurred at about 12:30 a.m. July 26 on CAT bus 625, route 113, northbound on Las Vegas Boulevard, police said.

As the victim stood up to leave the bus, one suspect took the man's wallet out of his rear pants pocket, police said. The victim turned to confront the suspect and was pushed and punched by a second suspect. Two more men joined the fight.

When the bus stopped, a fifth suspect told the others it was time to leave and said, "Let's go." The suspects were last seen eastbound on Owens Avenue, police said.

The five suspects are described as 17 to 20 years old and 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, weighing 150 to 180 pounds.

Anyone with information on these men is urged to call the Metro Police Robbery Section at 828-3591. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. A cash reward may be available to the person providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
