Letter: Humiliation in court not new

In response to the recent incident in which Hearing Master Sylvia Beller ordered a teen to remove his shirt, and then ordered a bailiff to remove the teen's belt, causing his pants to fall down, the young man should be grateful.

Sylvia Beller was only trying to teach this young man to experience now what he might experience later in life if he finds himself in a divorce -- the loss of his dignity and the literal loss of the shirt off his back.

Family Court has been humiliating families for years.
