Letter: Bush has restored honor, integrity

Recently there has been a spate of letters complaining about President Bush giving the OK to Yucca Mountain, so therefore Nevadans should not support him. Any other president would have done the same thing. I do not support Yucca Mountain either, but there are much bigger fish to fry.

If Nevada does not support President Bush's re-election, America will fall even further into the clutches of the liberals and the secularists. We must pay more attention to the bigger picture, both in America and around the world.

President Bush and his wife, Laura, have restored honor, integrity and character to the White House and are helping America get back on track. Granted, President Bush does not spend much less money than the liberals, but at least he spends most of it in correct areas such as defense, homeland security and attempting to bring peace to the Middle East. We can also spend more of our own money in ways we decide, instead of some bureaucrat in Washington deciding how to give it to someone else.

If America continues to fall for the liberals, humanists and secularists, our society will continue down the road of moral decline where the 1990s, and yes -- the Clintons -- were taking us.
