Vegas Play of the Day: Iowa State at West Virginia

Iowa State at West Virginia under-157 ½ points: $880 to win $800

There’s a recent trend in West Virginia games that could be worth following tonight, and it’s that in 10 straight games (and 12 of 13) the Mountaineers have only covered in games that they’ve won straight up. So if you like the home team tonight I would suggest betting West Virginia minus-6, and if you like the Cyclones then maybe just try the money line.

Personally, I’m looking at the total in this one. Iowa State has gone over in four straight but when the game is at West Virginia, that full-court pressure combined with the crowd becomes overwhelming and the home team tends to dictate things. West Virginia has gone under the total in six of seven home Big 12 games.
