San Francisco Giants plus-140 at Miami Marlins: $600 to win $840
I don’t like betting against Miami starter Jose Fernandez, but getting the Giants at a decent plus-price with Johnny Cueto on the mound is enough for me to take a shot.
Cueto and Fernandez have both been really good this season, boasting ERAs around 2.8 and WHIPs around 1.07. They might approach 20 combined strikeouts tonight and with both offenses really hit or miss, this could be a really low-scoring game.
My hope is that San Francisco can shake off some of the slumber that’s led to unders in eight of the last 11 games. Either way, this is good value to take a shot with a competent team on the road.
