Serious candidates don't let other people define them.
Informed voters clearly are looking for fresh ideas and solutions to the economic and social issues facing Nevadans. This kind of "copy cat" campaigning reinforces the perception that some candidates, such as Kirner and Hickey, are relying on the ideas of others to advance their own political careers, rather than researching the issues for themselves. What might we expect from such candidates once they are in office? If their resolve is based upon the principles someone else holds, and not on their own principles, can they be trusted to keep any promises made on the campaign trail? Will they be able to debate issues effectively if they are only parroting someone else's message? How persuasive can one be without a comprehensive understanding of the issue at hand?
Take seriously the candidate who offers his own message; his heart and soul. He/she will define the debate.
These look like puppet candidates to me, and the fact that they go to no trouble hiding the fact means that they aren't concerned about the critical capacity of the Nevada electorate.
Why do you think the words "dittos" and "mega-dittos" are used so frequently among those who don't care to think for themselves?
The GOP and the Tea Party is working overtime to define anyone who will spout their message and campaign. Kiwini is right, these guys are puppets of their party and can't even campaign on their own.
Who would vote for a puppet? Folks who can only regergitate sound bites fed to them by Fox News. They can't argue an issue but stand by thier Fox.
The average Teabag Party voter doesn't understand charts anyway.
