Clark County and Las Vegas fire departments responded to a three-alarm fire at the Woodcreek Apartment complex at 4485 Pennwood Ave., just west of Arville Drive, that started in the attic area about 6:30 p.m. Monday, Las Vegas Fire Department spokesman Tim Szymanski said.
The 10-unit apartment building is located in the county, but city firefighters responded to the fire as well, Szymanski said. Firefighters saved half the apartments, but the fire displaced 10 people.
