Less than a week after the Oprah Winfrey Network announced that it is canceling “The Rosie Show,” hosted by Rosie O’Donnell, Tyson is to be featured in a one-on-one interview with O’Donnell.

That session was recorded this morning at Winfrey’s former studio in Chicago and airs at 7 p.m. Thursday on OWN. That’s the day after O’Donnell celebrates her 50th birthday bash.

The cable network announced Friday that it was canceling O’Donnell’s ratings-deficient program after one season. “The Rosie Show” finishes taping next week and airs its final episode March 30.

The appearance on “The Rosie Show” launches a media tour by Tyson leading up to the opening of his one-man show, “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth – Live On Stage” -- at MGM Grand’s Hollywood Theater. The show runs April 13-18.

Tyson is scheduled to appear on “Piers Morgan Tonight” on CNN on March 29 and with Conan O’Brien on his TBS talker (talk show, is what that means) on April 3. Tyson also is due to be inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame at a ceremony at Miami's American Airlines Arena on March 31, a nod to his appearances on "Monday Night Raw."

Tyson’s plans for his upcoming stage show are to incorporate live music, photos and videos as he relates the triumphs, challenges and controversies of his life and career. It is not yet certain if he’ll perform his inspired impression of former presidential candidate Herman Cain, who was reported to be using his “9-9-9” system (or, at least calling out those numbers) during a stop at a three-card poker table at Encore on Thursday. But Tyson promises that just about anything is in play at his MGM Grand show, which he hopes to tour the country after its run in Vegas
