Herman Cain's 9-9-9 tax plan didn't get him to the White House but it drew a sweet deal on the poker tables at the Wynn Las Vegas casino this week.
Players at the casino told the New York Post that the former Republican presidential candidate was yelling "give me a 9-9-9" during a game of three-card poker Thursday night.
A Cain spokeswoman later said the former Godfather Pizza CEO did win on a 9-9-9 hand after placing a $10 minimum bet.
As an economic plan, the catchy phrase didn't win as big with voters. Cain's proposal for a 9 percent corporate tax, 9 percent income tax and 9 percent national sales tax turned out to be potentially burdensome to middle and lower income groups.
While casinos such as the Wynn have private high-roller rooms, Cain apparently likes the low buy-in tables.
With world-class dining, shopping, spas, golf and entertainment, there's no shortage of things to do at Wynn. The resort’s aquatic acrobatic show, “Le Reve—The Dream,” a creation by Cirque Du Soleil veteran Franco Dragone and Steve Wynn, will leave guests wanting more with its breathtaking performances that conjure an imaginary world. The Wynn Esplanade offers a unique shopping experience with stores including Chanel, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta and many more. Tryst is its signature nightclub, offering a secluded lagoon inside the club and spacious dance floor. Blush, the Wynn’s ultra lounge, draws swanky party-goers. Tryst, Wynn’s signature nightclub, is situated along a private lagoon under a 90-foot waterfall and plays host to some of the world’s most renown DJs.
