Police arrest murder suspect

Metro Police today released the identity of 37-year-old Marque Gardeley of Las Vegas, arrested as a suspect in a March 1 murder.

Gardeley is being held at the Clark County Detention Center without bail on a charge of murder with a deadly weapon. Police arrested him on Friday.

Gardeley is a suspect in the shooting death of 36-year-old Marty Devon Jacobs.

Police said Jacobs argued with someone while he sat behind the wheel of his white Lexus at the Walgreens drug store at Tropicana Avenue and Decatur Boulevard. Officers discovered Jacobs in the car at 8:21 a.m. March 1. Emergency medical crews responded, but Jacobs died at the scene.
