Metro Police have arrested 54-year-old William Redman for the murder of his 12-year-old daughter in a Boulder Highway RV Park on Wednesday, although Redman remains in a local hospital.
Redman is being charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon, police said.
He remains in Sunrise Hospital where he is being treated of cuts on both arms. He will be taken to Clark County Detention Center when he is released from the hospital.
Police arrived at the Road Runner RV Park at 4711 Boulder Highway about 11:50 a.m. Wednesday and found the 12-year-old dead inside the family's RV. The girl's mother told detectives she had arrived home after grocery shopping and discovered Redman with cuts on both his arms and the body of her daughter.
Redman was found outside the residence, police said.
