Metro Police officers shot a man at an apartment complex near West Sahara Avenue and Fort Apache today after they were called to the area for a family disturbance.
The man was taken to a local hospital and his condition wasn't being released at this time.
Police arrived at the Summer Hill Apartments, 9501 W. Sahara Ave., about 2 p.m. Witnesses told police that the man who was shot was beating up another person.
