Three people have been arrested and charged with murder for the death of off-duty Metro Police Officer Trevor Nettleton. He was fatally shot in his garage in North Las Vegas during a shooting that officials are calling a "senseless" crime.

Many people of Las Vegas have offered prayers and many kind remarks about Trevor. I wish to comment to the post by sandiegodamunvegas. You speculate about what happened at the scene. If you bothered to watch some of the coverage you would know that he identified himself as an officer, was shot at and then attempted to protect his young family. Your comments show that you are a "know it all" and apparently would know just how to handle the situation so you would not have been injured. My guess is that if you were put in that identical situation you would have simply "wet yourself". So you RIP
