Skolnik is overly concerned with releasing 1,500 inmates as required by legislators because that will cause a loss of prisoners to fight fires? An entire prison is being shut down because of lack of prison population, while $300 million will be spent on new construction. He tries to explain this but cannot because it lacks logic, no matter how many words he throws at it.
I fear for Chaplain Jane and hope she retains a good lawyer and quick. She may be in for a long and fierce battle. The good ole boys don't take kindly when you don't tuck tail and run away scared. The coyotes are circling the wagon.
The NDOC is an orgoniztion that plays by their own rules. The people of Nevada should be aware that there are several court cases in federal court that will shine the light on the system. Howard knows everything.
