Smoking Marijuana does not have any connection with lung, throat, mouth or brain cancers. And if you knew anything about the sale of Marijuana overseas you'd know that buying it in any country that's not Amsterdam you always run the risk of getting something else like glass, tar, cloth, turpentine, boot polish or any number of other adulterants. Which of course would mean that you are inhaling something you should not be.
It's kinda hard to use case studies that happened in New Zeland or anywhere else for that matter.

All this proves is that smoking anything will increase lung cancer. Now at no point did I say pregnant women should smoke, I also don't think that pregnant women should drink or do anything that could hurt the health of there child. And of course carcinogens are in anything you smoke because well it's the bi-product of smoking.
But to get back to the fed and police raids, are those necessary? Are there not other things that the police could be doing? Aren't there 2 Amber Alerts and a teacher trying to start a fire at her school?

Marijuana didn't become illegal because of scientific research. It was made illegal because of racism, fear, and being too hard to tax.
In the early 1900's western states were worried about marijuana because of Mexicans coming over the border after the Mexican revolution. In the 30's it was because of the association with Jazz music, which was dominantly Black and Hispanic at the time.
And than there's Harry J. Anslinger, the first director of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics. Knowing that Opiates and cocaine would not be enough to keep his department funded he started the war on Marijuana. Here are some quotes from some of his "Gore Files"
"There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos, and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz, and swing, result from marijuana use. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers, and any others."

Keep in mind that through most of mankind's history Marijuana was not illegal. Only in the last 100 years has it been.
