This is so sad. It demonstrates the extent to which the cultural and philanthropic community in Las Vegas just doesn't get it. Mr. Palermo and Mr. Polis may be well meaning, but if the artists mentioned in this article are examples of what they consider to be attractive to the Las Vegas community, then Las Vegas needs some serious art education. Look around--no other self-respecting community the size of Las Vegas would have this sort of nonsense going with its community art museum. This is amateur hour at its best.
