WBC super welterweight champion Canelo Alvarez will defend his title against Victor Ortiz at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on September 15. On the same day, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., promoted by Top Rank, will defend his WBC middleweight title against Sergio Gabriel Martinez at the Thomas & Mack Center.
