Las Vegas, Nevada (September 1st, 2011)
Sleepy Brown is in the building!!! Sleepy Brown, Singer/Songwriter/Producer, most famous for his work with Outkast ("I like the way you move"), TLC ("Waterfalls") and En Vogue ("Don't let go") has moved to Las Vegas to complete and release his new album "Sex, Drugs & Soul".
Patrick (Sleepy) Brown is also 1/3 of the successful Atlanta based production team of "Organized Noize", the team responsible for the ground breaking production of such superstar acts as "Outkast", "Goodie Mob", "TLC", and "En Vogue". Organized Noize is well known for pioneering the sounds of the Southern Hip Hop movement, "The Dirty South". Sleepy Brown credits most of his musical influences to his father "Jimmy Brown", Lead Vocalist, Saxophonist, Flute, Trombone and Trumpet player from the mid seventies hit group "Brick".
"I'm really excited about this new project, the tour and releasing this new album. It's hotter than anything I've ever done before. I've put my heart and soul into this album and I know everyone will love it."
You can look forward to seeing Sleepy Brown doing a lot of local shows on and around the Strip very soon and the announcement of the national tour.
"I'm going to do as many shows here in Las Vegas as I can before I go out on Tour. I love Vegas and the incredible energy I feel when I'm here. Sleepy Brown is in the House!!!"
