Halle Hewetson Elementary School Principal Awarded Best in State

Principal Lucy Keaton of Halle Hewetson Elementary School in North Las Vegas was named a National Distinguished Principal by the National Association of Elementary School Principals. Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) was on hand Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, to congratulate Keaton and the school, which was recently designated by the Nevada Department of Education as a High Achieving - Exemplary Turn Around School.
