Space Shuttle Simulator
Wed, Oct 6, 2010 (12:18 p.m.)
5th grade students demonstrated the NASA space shuttle simulator, one of the few of its kind, at Frank Lamping Elementary School for the Sun on Oct. 6. The William McCool Science Center, which houses the simulator, is named for the pilot of the doomed Columbia space flight. McCool’s parents, who live in Henderson, were instrumental in starting the center, which is funded by donations from the community and local businesses.
