There were just 18 competitors left in the at the World Series of Poker's World Championship No Limit Texas Hold 'em tournament on the afternoon of July 14, 2008. Those players fought it out for the next 12 hours, slowly whittling down to the "November Nine" who will return on November 9, 2008 to determine the champion.
