Jacobi Owens, Trajan Pili lead revitalized Centennial program into season: Wednesday, August 24, 2011; Northwest Division Preview:; By Case Keefer; The pressure associated with the first year after taking over coaching duties at a new school didn’t apply to Centennial’s Leon Evans in 2010. In his first year at the helm, Evans led Centennial to the best season in recent memory at the school. The Bulldogs finished third in the Northwest division and got to the second round of the postseason after beating Desert Oasis.

Cimarron-Memorial rallies to defeat Centennial, 27-17: Friday, October 8, 2010; Edward Hauth; Cimarron-Memorial High rallied from a 14-point first-quarter deficit to defeat Centennial 27-17 Friday. The Spartans improved to 3-3 on the season while the Bulldogs fell to 4-3.

Down 15 points early, Arbor View rallies for double-digit win: Saturday, September 11, 2010; By Ray Brewer; The Arbor View High football team started seven sophomores Saturday against Centennial in the Northwest Division opener for both schools. When Arbor View fell behind 15-0 in the first quarter, the underclassman didn’t panic.

Centennial improves to 2-0 with win against Green Valley: Friday, September 3, 2010; Ed Hauth; Centennial wide receiver Najeem Popal caught a 55-yard touchdown from Cody Clark late in the third quarter to help the Bulldogs improve to 2-0 on the season with a 19-13 road victory over Green Valley on Friday night.

Centennial grabs win in coach Leon Evans' debut: Friday, August 27, 2010; By Ray Brewer; Centennial High’s Willie White had four touchdowns and 139 yards rushing on seven carries Friday night to lift the Bulldogs to a 48-13 victory against visiting Clark. Taj Cole added 87 yards rushing and a touchdown for Centennial, which was victorious in coach Leon Evans’ debut with the program.
