A man died after he was dropped off Monday night at a North Las Vegas hospital with an apparent gunshot wound, according to Metro Police.
The man was dropped off about 8 p.m. at North Vista Hospital and later taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
North Las Vegas Police homicide detectives determined the shooting occurred in the 4700 block of East Owens Avenue in Las Vegas, Metro said.
Metro said its detectives subsequently took over the investigation.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the man’s name, Metro said.
