Reno man sentenced to 12 years in meth trafficking conspiracy

A Reno man was sentenced today to 12 years in prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy that distributed over 140 pounds of the drug, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Nassrollah Behmard was charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and related offenses, including money laundering, alongside four others, officials said.

Behmard was sentenced to 145 months in prison, the longest sentence among the group.

Behmard was arrested in 2022 after law enforcement caught him and a co-conspirator delivering the meth from Los Angeles to Reno, officials said.

After arresting the two men, law enforcement then found a lab in Los Angeles containing over 1,000 pounds of meth, officials said.
