A man was fatally wounded Tuesday morning when gunshots were fired after a man on a bicycle approached the victim and then rode away, according to Metro Police.
The shooting was reported about 10:45 a.m. in the 5700 block of Ritter Lane,near Hacienda Avenue and Lindell Road, police said.
Officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, police said. He was taken to University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, according to police.
The victim was standing in front of a home when a man was seen riding a bicycle toward him, police said. After the shots were fired, the same man was seen running toward his bike and riding away, police said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name, police said.
