One person was killed and another critically wounded Friday in a shooting at the 5200 block of Garden Lane, Metro Police said this evening.
The victims were inside a garage in the central valley neighborhood when two unknown suspects approached and robbed them at gunpoint, according to police.
The suspects fled on foot and were chased by the victims, police said. A physical altercation occurred and both victims were shot.
They were transported by medical personnel to a local hospital, where one victim was pronounced dead.
The suspects fled before police arrived, officials said. The victims will be later identified, they said.
