A teen has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting last month at a Las Vegas apartment complex, according to Metro Police.

Prseyus Dennis was arrested Tuesday and booked at the Clark County Detention Center on counts of open murder, robbery with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery, police said.

The shooting was reported about 9:40 p.m. in the 2200 block of North Torrey Pines Avenue.

Officers located a male in an apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, police said. He was declared dead on the scene, police said.

While at the apartment complex, officers were notified that another male had showed up at a nearby hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.

Detectives determined he was related to the shooting incident at the apartment, police said.

Detectives subsequently learned several people, including both victims, were in the apartment at the time of the shooting, police said.

Everyone related to the incident were gone before officers arrived, police said.
