As the Kansas City Chiefs were celebrating their Super Bowl win in Las Vegas Sunday night, Metro Police made a handful of arrests and assisted in at least one crash near the Strip in what was otherwise a relatively calm day.

Metro made six arrests and issued two citations related to festivities in and around Allegiant Stadium, according to a department spokesperson. Metro also assisted in 56 medical calls for service and nine medical transportations. Neither DUI figures nor jurisdictional-wide statistics were yet available.

Officers also responded to a downed light pole near Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road shortly after the game. Police reported that a vehicle collided with the pole, and that a social media post from the agency showed the pole blocking at least two lanes of traffic on westbound Flamingo.

There were also several, unrelated crashes on the Strip, police said.
