Legendary singer-songwriter Mariah Carey is returning to Las Vegas with a new engagement, "Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas," with eight shows in April at Dolby Live at Park MGM, it was announced early Tuesday.
The eight performances at Dolby Live at Park MGM — set for 8 p.m. April 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26 and 27 — will feature fan favorites from Carey's iconic album, "The Emancipation of Mimi," as well as other hits from her long career.
Carey is the best-selling female artist of all time with more than 200 million albums sold to date and 19 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles (18 of which she wrote), more than any solo artist in history. Among her No. 1 hits are "We Belong Together," "Don't Forget About Us," "Vision of Love," "Emotions," and "Always Be My Baby."
Known for her distinct five-octave vocal range and prolific song-writing, Carey has been the recipient of numerous accolades, including being an inductee to the Songwriters Hall of Fame, winning multiple Grammy Awards, numerous American Music Awards, three Guinness World Record titles, both Billboard’s “Artist of the Decade” and “Icon" awards, the World Music Award for “World's Best Selling Female Artist of the Millennium,” the Ivor Novello Award for “PRS for Music Special International Award,” and BMI’s “Icon Award” for her outstanding achievements.
Carey has supported a range of philanthropic causes, including Save the Music, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, World Hunger Relief and the Elton John AIDS Foundation, among others. She founded Camp Mariah in partnership with the Fresh Air Fund, a retreat for inner city children to explore career development.

Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. PST Saturday, also at ticketmaster.com.
Mariah and Live Nation Las Vegas, which is producing the Park MGM concerts, are donating $1 of every ticket purchased for the eight shows to The Fresh Air Fund's Camp Mariah.
