Kari Lake, a Republican candidate for Senate in Arizona, told a crowd on April 14:
“We are going to put on the armor of God. Then maybe strap on a Glock.”
She also said, “This is the moment we have to save our country. (Donald Trump) is willing to sacrifice everything. I am, that’s why they’re coming after us.”
Sadly, but not surprisingly, the MAGA hats cheered.
So we should go back to the Wild West, where everyone carries a gun and disagreements are resolved with deadly results?
How far this country has deviated from the path of reasonableness and manners to the mentality of shoot first and ask questions later.
When did we lose our sanity?
The “armor of God”?
“They’re coming after us”?
Who is?
If it’s Biden, he is taking his sweet time, because we’ve had four continuous years of fake election denying, calling criminal rioters patriots and hostages, and disparagement of brave servicemen, without bone spurs, who sacrificed all for this great country.
The one common denominator in all of these calls to arms is sitting in criminal court in New York.
Despite his uncouthness, pathological lying, hypocrisy and history of avoiding paying workers by filing numerous bankruptcies, red hats continue to worship at the Temple of Trump.
So in the name of the one who would not serve his country against foreign adversaries, let’s all follow Lake’s call and take up arms against our fellow Americans.
